SPIR STAR AG wins award in the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Companies” competition 2022

On 17 September 2022, SPIR STAR AG was awarded the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Companies 2022” which is conferred by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation.

The prize is one of Germany’s most coveted business awards and companies can be nominated for it exclusively via third parties.

A total of 4,546 small and medium-sized companies as well as banks and municipalities were nominated in this year’s competition, of which 542 made it on the jury’s shortlist. The jury then evaluated these companies based on the following criteria: overall development, modernizations, innovations, commitment in the region, service, creation/securing of jobs and places for trainees as well as marketing.

As early as 2017, SPIR STAR AG was nominated for the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Companies” for the first time. This year’s nomination came from Wirtschaftsförderung Bergstraße [Promotion of Economic Development in the Bergstraße Region] and other third parties.

It is the first time for SPIR STAR AG to receive this prestigious award.
