Apprenticeship Start 2025: SPIR STAR Welcomes New Apprentices

At the official start of the apprenticeship year in August, SPIR STAR was pleased to welcome three new apprentices to the team. These new colleagues are beginning their careers with us as Machine and Plant Operator and Industrial Management Assistants.
We are delighted with their decision to start their vocational training at SPIR STAR and warmly welcome them to our team!

A Strong Start: Getting to Know Each Other & Building Team Spirit

The first two days focused on getting acquainted, connecting, and gaining initial insights into the company.

On Friday, the new apprentices had the opportunity to meet the company, their trainers, and apprentices from more advanced training years. After a company presentation, the group enjoyed a team lunch, followed by a round of bowling, where the focus was on having fun and building team spirit. 🎳

A Dynamic Monday: Scavenger Hunt Through All Departments

On Monday, our new apprentices faced a special challenge: a scavenger hunt through all departments of the company.
They visited each department in turn and received exciting insights into day-to-day tasks and responsibilities from the respective teams. In each department, they were given a clue that led them to the next station. Along the way, they also received their new work clothing, and at the end of the day, they proudly presented their newly acquired knowledge.

Now the Journey Begins!

After this successful introduction, our new apprentices have now joined their respective departments – motivated, curious, and ready to get started.
