City Cycling 2025 – SPIR STAR for the municipality of Rimbach
From August 7 to 27, 2025, SPIR STAR AG took part with great success in the STADTRADELN cycling campaign for the municipality of Rimbach. A total of 25 active cyclists covered 7,773 kilometers, saved 1,275 kilograms of CO₂, and secured 1st place in the municipality of Rimbach.
Together for climate protection and health
The STADTRADELN campaign motivates people every year to use bicycles more in everyday life. In addition to making a positive contribution to climate protection, it also strengthens health, team spirit, and a sense of community. In Rimbach, a total of more than 28,500 kilometers were cycled, saving around 5 tons of CO₂.
Award ceremony at SPIR STAR
On September 16, 2025, the award ceremony was held directly at SPIR STAR AG. Mayor Holger Schmitt, organizer Christoph Nieder, as well as the captains of the participating teams attended to honor the achievements of the cyclists. Among those recognized were, among others, Eberhard Sendobry, Ulrike Arnold, Thomas Arnold, Günther Röpert, Malou Helfert, Petra Nieder, and further representatives of the municipality.
A special moment was the recognition of the youngest participant, Maël Arnold, who actively took part in STADTRADELN at just 5 years old. He was presented with an extra prize by the mayor.
