SPIR STAR AG at the OTC in the USA – Visit to Our US Subsidiary

From May 5 to 8, 2025, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) took place in Houston, Texas—one of the world’s most important trade shows for offshore technologies. Each year, it brings together professionals and companies from the energy sector to discuss new developments, technological solutions, and current trends in oil, gas, and offshore industries.

SPIR STAR develops and manufactures thermoplastic ultra-high-pressure hoses with pressure ranges from 250 to 4,000 bar and inner diameters ranging from 3 mm to 32 mm. These hoses are characterized by their high pressure resistance and long service life—making them ideal for use in technically demanding environments. With international locations, including our subsidiary in the USA, we stand for quality, safety, and technical precision worldwide.

The OTC not only provided a great platform to showcase our products, but also served as a wonderful opportunity for our CEO, Ruben de Graaf, and Head of Sales, Heiko Döbert, to visit our team at SPIR STAR Ltd. in Houston in person. On site, they supported the trade show appearance and took the opportunity to engage directly with the US team.

In addition to discussions with international customers, the focus was also on personal dialogue with colleagues in Houston. This direct exchange not only enhanced mutual understanding but also helped address operational topics and further develop ongoing projects together.

The visit once again highlighted the great value of personal contact in international collaboration. We sincerely thank the local team for their dedicated efforts and successful presence at OTC 2025.
