In order to expand our own product range in the field of valve technology, the company Skarke GmbH was acquired in 2022 and added as a subsidiary.

Skarke supplies series and special solutions for almost all areas, such as:

• Construction, agricultural and commercial vehicle industry

The valves are then used in fluid technology, oil-coolant and fuel management.

The standard series include oil drain valves, oil drain plugs, breather valves, breather and vent filters as well as oil dipsticks and oil level indicators. Skarke GmbH is responsible for all stages of the production process, from development and sample production to the manufacture of the final products. Thus, they are able to deliver quality products quickly, efficiently and customer-oriented.

Like SPIR STAR^® AG, Skarke GmbH is also a DIN EN ISO 9001:2014 certified company.

In addition to the great successes in the rest of Asia, our company was also able to position itself directly on the Chinese market with SPIR STAR^® CHINA in February 2014. Our location in Xinzhuang, in the Minhang District, Shanghai, has sales, technology, production, purchasing and finance departments.

After more than 10 years of market development and use of SPIR STAR^® development technology and management philosophy, our local distributors are achieving remarkable success in the petrochemical industry as well as in the automotive manufacturing segment, ship maintenance and the general machinery industry.

As early as 1984, SPIR STAR^® Germany entered into a partnership with Fluid-Tec Engineering & Trading Pte Ltd. from Singapore. The Asian company specialized in the distribution of hydraulic hoses, adapters and accessories from SPIR STAR^®. The continued success of the cooperation finally led to the joint company SPIR STAR^® Asia Pte Ltd in 1999.

Today’s SPIR STAR^® Asia supplies the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand, with high-quality developments such as ultra-high-pressure hoses, extreme-pressure hoses, water-jet hoses and hydraulic hoses. With the help of numerous authorized assembly centers, the SPIR STAR^® distribution network covers the entire Asian region with countries such as Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and India and across the Pacific to Australia.

SPIR STAR^® Ltd. was founded in 1995 in Houston, Texas, where it is still headquartered today. In the late 90s/early 2000s, the first authorized assembly centers also opened in various parts of the USA.

Thanks to its proximity to customers coupled with excellent service, SPIR STAR^® USA has become an indispensable player in the USA and South America in recent years.

In 2010, SPIR STAR^® Ltd. was certified according to ISO 9001-2015 and always guarantees the best customer service and quality. In 2015, SPIR STAR^® celebrated its 20th anniversary and was OHSAS 18001:2007 certified the following year.

Due to increasing demand and the associated globalization, the first SPIR STAR^® company outside Germany was founded in France in 1991.

Thus, SPIR STAR^® France SAS is not only a subsidiary of SPIR STAR^® AG, but also the first and oldest international SPIR STAR^® company.

Over the years, the Haguenau site has continued to grow, making SPIR STAR^® France SAS a key contact for our customers in France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Luxembourg, Morocco and Tunisia in the field of ultra-high pressure.

In addition to the ultra-high pressure hoses manufactured in Germany, the product range also includes high-pressure valves, pipes, adapters and couplings.

As early as 1981, SPIR STAR^® AG started producing the first ultra-high-pressure thermoplastic hoses – at that time, however, still as part of PAPUREX GmbH.

In 1989, the ultra-high pressure division was spun off and the independent company SPIR STAR^® Druckschläuche GmbH was founded in Mörlenbach. In the following years, the company grew, and the space quickly became too small. In the early 2000s, new production halls and office buildings were built at the current location in Rimbach- Mitlechtern. The company premises were steadily expanded and extended in the following years.

As early as 1995, SPIR STAR^® AG, then still known as SPIR STAR^® Druckschläuche GmbH, obtained ISO 9001-2015 certification. Thus, SPIR STAR^® always guarantees you the best customer service and outstanding quality. In the meantime, the company, with its approx. 100 employees (Germany location), is one of the market leaders in the production of high-pressure hoses and has become a permanent fixture in the waterjet, hydrogen, hydraulics, oil & gas, and automotive sectors.

To this day, every meter of SPIR STAR^® hose is produced exclusively at the site in Germany.
