Quality and safety
Maximum safety is crucial when working with ultra-high-pressure hoses. Even small errors or inferior products can lead to serious accidents. That is why the product quality of our thermoplastic hoses and hose assemblies is our top priority.
Thanks to the creativity of our employees, we have been able to continuously develop our products over the past decades. We always endeavour to exceed our customers’ expectations.
We only use high-quality materials throughout the entire manufacturing process and can guarantee the consistent quality of our high-pressure hoses thanks to stringent production and testing standards.
As our hose products are manufactured and inspected in accordance with industry standards, many of our products are certified to current standards such as DIN EN 1829-2 or ISO 19880-5.
To achieve this, our hoses are tested using state-of-the-art testing equipment, such as pulse test rigs, measuring devices for volumetric expansion, external pressure resistance, tensile strength and burst pressure testing equipment.
In addition, every assembled hose line is pressure-tested again before despatch. We will be happy to provide you with a corresponding test certificate in accordance with EN 10204 on request.
SPIR STAR® AG has been a DIN EN ISO 9001 certified company since 1995 and thus guarantees complete documentation of its processes. Thanks to the company’s tried-and-tested QM system, all raw materials used in production can be traced at any time.
