High Pressure Hoses
Since its foundation, SPIR STAR® has specialised in the development and manufacture of ultra-high-pressure thermoplastic hoses. We offer a wide range of hose types and connectors to meet the complex requirements of various industries. This means that our customers can find the right product for every high-pressure application.
Our range includes ultra-high-pressure hoses with inner diameters from 3 mm to 32 mm. These are designed for a pressure range of up to 4,000 bar
Areas of application for the ultra-high pressure hose
Our UHP (Ultra-High-Pressure) hoses are used in numerous industries:
- Water jet technology

Depending on the application, we manufacture the ultra-high-pressure hose from different materials. The inner core is made of polyamide (PA), polyoxymethylene (POM), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). We use polyamide (PA), polyurethane (PUR) or PVDF for the outer cover.
Quality and safety for ultra-high-pressure hoses
To ensure that our customers have maximum safety even at extreme pressures, SPIR STAR® produces exclusively using state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, every ultra-high-pressure hose is subject to high quality standards, meaning that many of the thermoplastic ultra-high pressure hoses are certified in accordance with the following international standards
- DIN EN 1829-2
- ISO 19880-5
Hose Fittings for every High Pressure Hose
We offer a wide range of fittings in various thread types, sizes and materials to match every ultra-high-pressure hose.
Our range includes:
- High-pressure and medium-pressure fittings
- NPT, JIC, BSPP, Type M and metric connectors
We have also developed special series for pipe cleaning hoses. The OnePiece and Blast-Pro fittings are significantly shorter than standard fittings, which means that even tight pipe bends can be cleaned without any problems. Another advantage is that the outer diameter of the thermoplastic ultra-high-pressure hose is only slightly increased by the crimping of the sleeve. As a result, it is possible to use hose types with a larger inner diameter and therefore a higher volume flow.
Hose accessories for enhanced safety
To extend the safety and service life of the hoses, SPIR STAR® offers appropriate hose accessories. The ultra-high-pressure hose can be purchased including a hose securing grip, protection hose or kink protection. As an alternative to the standard PVC protection hose, our hoses can also be supplied with a double cover (DC). The second top cover is not only more resistant to abrasion than a PVC protection hose, but also significantly reduces the outer diameter.
