High Pressure Hoses
Since the foundation of the company, SPIR STAR® has specialized in the development and production of thermoplastic high pressure hoses.
We have developed a wide range of hose types and connections to meet the complex and demanding requirements that arise in the industries. Thus, we offer the right product for many high pressure applications.
Our product range includes ultra high pressure hoses (UHP hoses) with inner diameters from 3 mm to 32 mm, covering pressure ranges up to 4,000 bar / 58,000 psi.
UHP hoses are used in Waterjet, Oil and Gas, Hydrogen, High Pressure Hiydraulics and in the Automotive industry. Depending on the specific application, we manufacture our ultra high pressure hoses using various materials. For example, the inner core can be made of polyamide (PA), polyoxymethylene (POM), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
Polyamide (PA), polyurethane (PUR) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) are used for the outer cover material. The “DuraLife Flex” outer cover has been developed especially for the waterjet and pipe cleaning hoses. Specifically for the water jetting industry, we developed the “DuraLife Flex” outer cover, a material that offers significantly reduced wear compared to standard cover materials.
To ensure maximum safety for our customers even under extremely high pressures, we manufacture our products using state-of-the-art production facilities. In addition, our hoses comply with strict quality standards, and many of our thermoplastic high pressure hoses are certified according to international standards such as DIN EN 1829-2 and ISO 19880-5.

Hose Fittings for every High Pressure Hose
In addition to our thermoplastic high pressure hoses, we offer a wide range of hose fittings in various thread types, sizes, and materials.
The range of fittings includes High Pressure, Medium Pressure, NPT, JIC, BSPP, Type-M and Metric fittings.
Our OnePiece and Blast-Pro fittings series have been specially developed for our pipe cleaning hoses. The fittings are much shorter compared to a standard fitting, making it easier to clean pipes with bends. Another advantage is that the outer diameter of the waterjet hoses is only slightly increased by crimping the sleeve. Consequently, it is possible to use UHP hose types with a larger inner diameter and thus higher volume flow.
Marking rings and stop sleeves are also in the portfolio.
Hose accessories
To extend the safety and service life of our high pressure hoses, SPIR STAR® offers appropriate hose accessories. For instance, hose lines can be ordered with hose protection sleeves, protective tubing as well as bend protection. As an alternative to the standard PVC protective sleeve, our hoses can also be offered with a double cover (DC). Compared to a PVC protective sleeve, the second cover is not only more resistant to abrasion but also significantly reduces the outer diameter.
